Our Stories

We Show Without Telling

by | Jul 12, 2016

“CREATIVE MINDS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN KNOWN TO SURVIVE ANY KIND OF BAD TRAINING”.

~ Anna Freud ~

Our training is basic but in the hands of seasoned pastors and ministry workers it becomes a tool to save a soul.

“YOU CANNOT TEACH A MAN ANYTHING, YOU CAN ONLY HELP HIM FIND IT WITHIN HIMSELF”.

~Author unknown~

These training has helped me to understand that a human being created by God is loaded with potential, all it needs is a motivation and a purposeful touch at certain areas at certain times to become what it is made for.

The purpose of our basic computing training is to equip the saints for Ministry work, to build up the body of Christ, to attain maturity in the unity of faith and knowledge of the Son of God.

So we are no longer to be children, tossed about by waves and every wind of teaching by the trickery of people who craftily carry out their deceitful schemes. But practicing the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Christ, who is the head. From him the whole body grows, fitted and held together through every supporting ligament. As each one does its part, the body grows in love.

EPHESIANS 4:12 – 16

We want to be seen as making an impact on the questions and challenges that Apostle Paul highlights in Romans 10: 13 – 15. “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How are they to call on one they have not believed in? And how are they to believe in one they have not heard of? And how are they to hear without someone preaching to them? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How timely is the arrival of those who proclaim the good news.

We thank the Lord for our participants who are seasoned preachers and so our goal is to assist the Church to deliver what they know in a different format.

Pastor Alice Luma developed her Power Point Presentation during the training on Thursday (7th July 2016) and in the evening used the printed out A4 sheets to preach to her cell group during their “House Fellowship”.

She was really excited as she shared about her evening experience, her audience were “captured by the pictures” on the paper and as she shared from the Scriptures they clearly understood the message that God really love each and every one of them.

Just like other training experiences, the participants use their initiative and creativity to make use of their training whenever opportunity struck. We were blessed with Power Point Presentations during devotions and appreciation speeches during the graduation.

Here are some samples from different participants of different courses.

The participants are full of joy and excitement because they have learnt the skills of inserting Church logos and developing letterheads for their denominations.

Excitement fill the air when they were holding a printed copy – the result of the work of their fingers!

Some have advanced to a higher level of their training by developing teaching resources using various themes or topics.

One of the participant went ahead and develop a presentation to introduce each of his fellow participants as they went up to receive their certificates.

We thank the Lord for the prayers and support of everyone involved to help the saints to be equip them to reach the point they have been called for.

As trainers and facilitators we continue to be blessed as we see pastors who have never use a computer before in their lives, producing professional materials to equip them reach the goal of winning souls to Christ.

We had experienced the successes of these trainings because of the grace of God and the perpetual guidance and help of the Holy Spirit, he is always our strength when we are in need.
