The Word of God Reaches Bihute Prison

Romans 1:16
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.”
Christie Wahani is currently working as an Accounts Clerk at Christian Radio Missionary Fellowship (CRMF). She has been working there for a long time. Every Wednesday after work, Christie along with Lotty Yani from the FNBC Church and Priscila Jack from the Baptist Church with Annal Apo from EBC Church would be committed to visiting the women’s prison at Bihute to have fellowship with the inmates. Occasionally, they would have others join them in their ministry. The Prison Ministry is led by a wonderful time of praise and worship and then concluded with a time of devotion and encouragements.

In her past visits, Christie donated Audio Bibles and Tok Pisin Bibles from CRMF to the inmates who came to know the Lord. Very recently, (23 of December 2020), Christie donated a Christmas gift of two Tok Pisin Bible and a reading glass for two inmates that desired to know more about the Lord. On other occasions they would donate guitar strings, toiletries, vegies and fruits with the help and support from the EBC Church.

It is this very reason that Christ Jesus was born during the Christmas season to give us an eternal hope, just as the Lord Jesus said in Luke 19:10, “The Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” The lost don’t just need finding; they need saving and the heart and love of God is for such and for all. The greatest and eternal gift God could give to men is eternal salvation, life and hope in Him.
Thank you for your continuous support towards the work that CRMF does. Because of your generous giving we were able to contribute towards the Prison Ministry by donating Audio Bibles, printed Bibles and reading glasses to women who have come to know the Lord through the Prison Ministry. Your contribution continues to transform lives. Thank you!
