Our Stories

Amos Kerowa & Ps. Paul of Everyhome for Christ at the TOT training.

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 NIV. We can encourage and build each other up with what we do have and in the process of helping others; the Lord teaches and equips us to continue to do what we do.

We have just completed a week of “Trainer of Trainers” course with our training agreement partners at Every Home for Christ Base in Mt Hagen and we praise God for what was achieved.

We discovered that the Lord has been preparing the team for the last seven years to train others to continue the training of Basic Computer Training (BCT). According to 2 Timothy 2:2, Paul entrusted Timothy with everything that he heard him say in the presence of many witness to faithful people who will be competent to teach others as well.

CRMF’s Tek Ministri team set out to assist Pastors and ministry leaders with basic computer training in 2013 with a goal to equip them to preach the Gospel. None of the team is a qualified teacher and a preacher but one thing is very clear; we have been “entrusted” by the Lord to equip the saints for the work of ministry, that is to build up the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:12). We are doing that through technology to empower and spread the Gospel using today’s tools for today’s generation.

Now seven years later, it is time to share everything the Lord has taught us to those who are faithful and competent to join us to continue to equip the saints. We are grateful to the Lord for Lutheran Renewal Church’s Agape Bible School, Every Home for Christ, Assemblies of God Wingei Bible School and Assemblies of God Highlands Regional Bible College as our “Training Agreement” partners.
The trainer of trainers’ course at Every Home for Christ base was spent by sharing and developing lessons learned by the team over the last seven years with a lot of churches and missions organizations in the country. Although our target participants were our training agreement partners, we appreciate all the churches and mission organizations that have participated in our courses.
Our special mention to Carol Noah, Missions Coordinator for South Seas Evangelical, Brugrum, East Sepik, who caught the vision back in 2013 to invite the Tek Ministri team to deliver its first ever basic computer training.
As an organisation we are excited that the Lord is giving us an opportunity to train others to do what we do and we feel great about it. We feel great because someone other than ourselves have done something for us or with us. Each of us is seen as unique because of the other person or organisation.

Switch over from desktop to laptop computers for BCT training.

As an organizations we can only do what we do because the other organization is the very reason why we do what we do. Most times we feel we are special and that is good but we must never forget that it is only because of the other person or organisation. We are many parts but belong to one body, each part is unique because the other parts cannot do the one special thing that only that particular part can do! Thus, we inherit our uniqueness by serving the Lord Jesus who is the head of the body. (1 Corinthians 12:12 – 26)

We give glory to God that he has prepared us for the last seven years (2013 – 2019) to develop our specialty to be the bridge to assist the pastors and ministry leaders with technological skills in basic computing training. While God enabled us to do that He was also preparing our training agreement partners to embrace the training we deliver so that they can be competent in their part of the ministry.

CRMF’s Tek Ministry cannot go to every home in our beautiful country but Every Home for Christ can, and in the same way we cannot do what Agape Bible School, AOG Bible School in Wingei, East Sepik and AOG Highlands Regional Bible College in Mt Hagen can do, but because of our uniqueness we can assist those who can, after all we all are of the same body.

Pray with us as we continue to develop the student manual specifically drafted for the Trainer of Trainers’ course in Mt Hagen and the final year (2020) for our training agreement partners as we prepare and equip them to be competent to train others.
