MAF Technologies formerly known as Christian Radio Missionary Fellowship (CRMF). We are an inter-denominational technical mission which has been based in PNG for over 60 years. We exist to provide the Church and the remote communities in PNG with technical solutions, such as High Frequency (HF) radio communication, IT solutions, Solar infrastructure installation such as lighting, Solar Vaccine Fridges, digital audio bibles and any other technology that can help them to advance the gospel.
The churches in PNG are moving slowly or are stagnant as we advance rapidly into the technological era, so we stand in the gap as the bridge over this digital divide to help them. We help them through our Learning Technologies Department who primarily aimed at using new digital technologies and trainings to help remote pastors and church leaders carry out their ministry through this digital and technological era. Also, through our partnership with MAF International we are also able to give remote communities access to God’s Word via both printed Bibles, digital Bibles, and solar powered Audio Bibles with the help of the pilots we put the Bibles and the Biblical resources in a Bible Box which the pilots carry with them when they go out into the remote communities.
Despite the high rate of illiteracy being perceived as a barrier for the vast majority of rural Papua New Guineans, MAF Technologies strives to minister God’s Gospel by supplying hundreds of audio Bibles to remote areas of Papua New Guinea through its Church partners like (FNBC), Mission Organizations, and also through the Bible boxes distribution via MAF planes’ so remote lives can access God’s word.

The Wycliffe Associates, like other Bible translation organizations in Papua New Guinea, aims to empower and equip national Bible translators, most of whom are local native speakers, to translate Scriptures into their native language by providing resources and tools through Bible translation workshops, all while working under the guidance and authority of local churches. This is an exciting era in Bible translation because God has supplied effective advanced technologies to aid in the translation process and spreading of his good news
MAF Technologies also supported communication links for the PNG Sustainable Development Program (SDP) Balimo Hub by installing an HF radio system. “Nobody goes to rural communities to provide technology services like we do. We are enabling SDP and MAF aviation to do what they do best by providing a more effective HF radio communication system that enables the Health Patrol Officers to deliver proper health care to the remote communities within the Western Province,” said MAF Technologies General Manager…
Dr. Philiip ( also known as VP) was pleased to give such training to the MAF Technologies employees as he is confident that the session will benefit the participants to grasp the qualities of a true leader in their roles as department managers.“The primary content of the training is to examine leadership in the Bible because God is the source of everything, it is important to derive all lessons from a biblical viewpoint to fully comprehend the true meaning of becoming a competent leader.” Dr Phillip uttered.
