Christian Radio Missionary Fellowship (CRMF) is now known as MAF Technologies.
We are currently in the process of rebranding into a new brand, a new name and a new identity – MAF Technologies.
Why the new brand or name?
Christian Radio Missionary Fellowship (CRMF) has been partnering with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) since the early 1950s. It was founded by three visionaries who wanted to capture their vision of evangelizing through short wave radio frequencies. To put it simply, they want to use telecommunication expertise to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Sydney McLeod – Jones or Syd, Robert Hartnell or Bob and Claude D’Everlynes have worked together with other Missionaries in the Mission field but the strong bond and partnership that CRMF and MAF have integrated had been closely knitted since then.
It wasn’t a surprise when the partnership was officiated in 2010 to established the bond between the two partners after having serve together for over sixty – five (65) years.
CRMF is now in the process of rebranding into MAF as MAF Technologies, sealing the partnership into a team motivated by the love of Christ to bring help, hope and healing through Aviation and Technologies to reach the isolated communities in Papua New Guinea and around the world, thus our Vision and Mission statements.
“To see isolated people changed by the love of Christ.”
“Serving together to bring help, hope and healing through Aviation and Technologies.”
Despite the new brand and new name we will continue to provide the Churches in Papua New Guinea and the remote Communities with technological solutions, such as radio communication, information systems and technologies, solar products and solutions, digital christian resources like the Solar Audio Bible and many more, to help advance and support the gospel of Jesus Christ.
As Papua New Guinea is advancing rapidly into the technology era, we are here to stand together with the churches to help break the barrier of “Digital Divide” that it has brought with it.
We will also stay true to our original ministry of HF radio communication with the remote communities in Papua New Guinea, monitoring from 8:00am – 5:00pm during the working week at the office, at 5:00pm – 7:00pm after hours and on the Week end at 6:30am – 7:00pm at our residential bases here in Goroka, Eastern Highlands Province.
